NARRAGANSETT â€” The sun â€“ or bright skies â€“ went away Wednesday a little bit after 6 p.m. while the Narragansett girls soccer team was doing its annual tradition of celebrating the teamâ€™s seniors on their final day on their home pitch.
NORTH KINGSTOWN â€“ As far as the standings went, Tuesdayâ€™s game between the East Greenwich and North Kingstown field hockey teams didnâ€™t mean much to either team. Both are headed to the playoffs â€“ which could begin as early as Sunday â€“ and there wasnâ€™t anything to gain or lose with Tuesdayâ€™s result.
