Tickled Pink features superior consignment shopping, selling (Business Feature)

WYOMING - Back when consignment shopping became the trendy thing to do, I jumped on the bandwagon with everyone else. But I noticed that, over time, most stores raised their prices to the point where it made more sense to just go shopping at a regular store and spend a couple more dollars to get brand new items. I noticed the clothing available in consignment shops becoming outdated and, unless you were an average medium size, the odds were slim that you were going to find anything to fit you. However, I’ve recently reclaimed my love of consignment shopping and it’s all because of a little place called “Tickled Pink” on Main Street in Wyoming.

World War II through the lens of a soldier

“I hope you’re saving these photos mom, they’re priceless,” reads a letter home from England during WWII, dated May 28, 1945. I found the note in an old oak box full of amazing photographs that my Grandfather, Cpl. John H. Clancy took while serving as a photographer for the Mighty 8th Air Force, 303rd Bombardment, 358th Squadron. It finishes, “Don’t worry Mom, everything is good and we’ll all be home before you know it, and won’t that just be swell. That big kiss in the sunrise. Love, My John.”
