EAST GREENWICH — Having started as a small company in Coventry, Proscape Landscaping is climbing the ladder, having made the Inc. Magazine’s Top 5,000 list.
John Pontarelli, President and founder of Proscape, explained that landscaping has been in his family for many years.
He said he started in the landscaping business in 1988 and opened Proscape in Coventry in 1995.
The company has now been relocated to East Greenwich but provides services to cities and towns throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

NORTH KINGSTOWN - If you’re driving south on Post Road near the Camp Avenue intersection, you may want to plan some extra time into your drive.
Signs have already been posted warning motorists of the impending delays that will accompany the construction of new sewer lines on part of Post Road and Camp Avenue.
According to information on the town’s website, work will begin on Monday.
