NARRAGANSETT–On Dec. 29 the Narragansett Times reported on the town's current water status and the recent legislation that places regulations on water use in order to conserve the state's water supplies ("Lower water rates bring new efforts for conservation"). Currently, the town's citizens have the second lowest water rates in the state. Senator Susan Sosnowski was asked about these rates, the developments in the state government regarding water, and the impact of the legislation on the state in the future.
