WOOD RIVER JCT. â€“ Since the spring of 2000, the Community 2000 Education Foundation has grown and evolved through partnerships that continue to benefit students and staff throughout the Chariho Regional School District.
North Kingstown RI â€“ Beacon Hospice, Inc. of North Kingstown RI recently announced the start of a new five-week Volunteer Training and Orientation Program. Orientation begins on March 15, 2011 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and will be followed by volunteer training sessions on March 22nd, 29th, April 5th and 12th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. PROVIDENCE â€” Coventry wrestler Dylan Dupre just finished a fantastic freshman season with a sixth-place finish at the state tournament Saturday. Dupre should have been happy with the result, instead he was thinking about what he needs to do to become an elite wrestler.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN â€“ The School Committee held a work shop session Tuesday night, where they focused on how to improve their leadership roles and how to best develop a bullying policy for the schools.
In its discussion on how to formulate a bullying policy that is both current and flexible to future changes, the school committee discussed the possibility of actually talking with students on what goes on in their schools.
