WAKEFIELD—As challenging as it was for the Narragansett girls tennis team Saturday evening against Toll Gate in the Division II Championship, getting to Slater Park was no easy task either.

NARRAGANSETT – As the matches rolled and the wins piled up for the Narragansett girls volleyball team, the goal for coach Abby Hummel has been to keep her team focused on the task at hand, never letting them get too far ahead.

By virtue of a 25-23, 25-13, 25-22 win over East Greenwich, ’Gansett secured the Division II-South regular season title.

PAWTUCKET – Mission complete.
It was a moment months, if not years, in the making. Slowly, methodically, the East Greenwich High School girls tennis team churned their way through their 2013 schedule, laying waste to all who stood in their path. Along the way, the Avengers did what they could to stay focused and grounded, despite their success, all the while building to this one, final crescendo.
