NORTH KINGSTOWN - Members of the North Kingstown Town Council, along with the town clerk and other town staff, spent over five hours meeting with town department heads to go through all the individual budgets for fiscal year 2012/2013 Monday afternoon and, in a unanimous vote, approved the town managerâ€™s preliminary budget of $98,995,928.

KINGSTON â€” When it comes to University of Rhode Island menâ€™s basketball, you would be hard pressed to find two fans with a better knowledge of the program than Warren Lutzel and Dick Moore.
The two sat together to watch the introduction of new coach Dan Hurley Wednesday at Keaney Gymnasium, a place where they had watched the Rams play since the facility opened in December of 1953.
â€śI would say 40 years, 40 or 50 years, something like that,â€ť said Lutzel of how long they had been coming to games for.

KINGSTON - Standing behind a podium with a University of Rhode Island jersey with his last name emblazoned on the back, Dan Hurley opened his introductory press conference with a couple jokes and ended talking about winning.
And winning is something he is not taking lightly.
