WOOD RIVER JUNCTION - Both the Chariho baseball and boys tennis team went winless last week.
Monday, both teams picked up their first win.
The baseball team got a great pitching performance from Cory Eaton while the bats did plenty of damage in an 11-6 win over Tiverton and while that game was going on, the tennis team took care of business against a struggling Pilgrim team, winning 7-0.
For a full story on both games, pick up the 4/14 edition of The Chariho Times.
