The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is closing a short segment of Route 1 North in South Kingstown tomorrow, Wednesday, March 2, 2011. The closure is expected to last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow for repair of damaged pavement.

North Kingstown RI – Beacon Hospice, Inc. of North Kingstown RI recently announced the start of a new five-week Volunteer Training and Orientation Program. Orientation begins on March 15, 2011 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and will be followed by volunteer training sessions on March 22nd, 29th, April 5th and 12th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
