Quest school one step closer as town approves re-zoning

NARRAGANSETT–The Town Council approved a petition from Quest Montessori to re-zone a property off Boston Neck Road. The privately-owned 150-student school is currently located in Exeter and its head, Paul Raymond, has stated his intention to purchase the property from a developer who will build Narragansett Highlands–16 units of housing (eight of which are affordable) onto a six acre parcel of the property. Having secured approval by the council, the school must again return to the planning board and sewer subcommittee.

HONOR ROLL

Hailey Novis and Austen C. Novis, both of Jamestown, were named to the honor roll at Phillips Academy in Massachusetts.

Deneen A. Cooke, of North Kingstown, was named to the North Kingstown High School honor roll.

DEAN’S LIST

Erica A. Sweeney, of Exeter and Briana L. Paganetti, of North Kingstown, were named to the Dean’s President’s List for the fall 2010 term at Coastal Carolina University.
