SOUTH KINGSTOWN – As the Tuesday night’s snowstorm dumped a foot of snow on South Kingstown, it forced schools and businesses to close, making it a lot easier for those who have to get rid of the snow to do their job.
“At this point, crews came in about midnight and worked right through,” Jon Schock, the town’s Public Services Director said Wednesday morning. “Many roads are passable. There are very few cars on the roads, which helps with plowing.”
