KINGSTON - Several decorated Christmas trees from around the area will be unveiled and lit at 7 p.m. at the Courthouse Center for the Arts.
The photo alongside this announcement depicts some of the 50 Chariho Regional High School students who created more than 100 ornaments as part of the school's art programs.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN - The South Kingstown Public Libraries are collecting LEGOs and DUPLOS for youth library programs.
"It's a growing popular program. It's successful in bringing in kids who otherwise wouldn't come to the other library programs especially boys that are school age," Tina Ladika of the Peace Dale Library said.
Ladika said with the donations, the South Kingstown Public Libraries would like to create a LEGO club. She said that it seems children are interested in the club.
