WOOD RIVER JCT. – After a discussion of options and how to proceed next, the Chariho Regional School Committee has put off a decision on all-day kindergarten until after the election.
NARRAGANSETT–Otis Wyatt, an election moderator, at District 1 said that voters had lined up before polls opened, hoping to vote and “get it out of the way” before work. By 10:45 a.m. 186 people had voted. The ballot counting machine seems to do everything except make french fries.
